Sing n Stroll Park Hill Park FREE

Celebrate Summer with us! Meeting outside 24 George street, Croydon, (opp tram stop)  at the carers centre (the walk is not only for carers, everyone is welcome). We will take a walk to Park Hill Park, or you can meet us there.

Another free session for you in one of Croydon’s luscious green spaces. Suitable for regular and slow walkers and children (while aimed at adults). We like to stroll, stopping to listen, notice, smell and enjoy nature, including extra treats with any raindrops that visit. We will sing a few folk and seasonal songs and chants at our stopping points.

Our delightful singing stroll will start at the Carers centre Cafe in George street cafe for optional chat and refreshments, plus loos, after the session).  You are welcome to return to the carers Cafe for free tea and chat. Alternatively you are welcome to spend time at the Park’s own Watertower cafe, which has a great range of foods and rinks (bring some money for this option). 

All ages welcome, though songs aimed at adults. Led by carer Catherine, founder of Croydon Carers Choir.

Offered in solidarity with all carers and in partnership with CarersFirst, and everyone is welcome.

We have a few more beautiful free nature and song sessions to uplift and relax you across the summer, through to early Sept, then some indoor singing 4 weeks with Adult Ed wed eves.  

Open to all ages and abilities, you can join us free for one or more of these sessions. Please pre-book so bring song sheets. Do bring along your own drinking water.
