Bruce Ncube Croydon Workshop Sat Oct 18th

Join Bruce Ncube for some delicious accessible harmonies, in a very beautiful space with glowing wood, gorgeous acoustics, and vibrant modern reclaimed stained glass, for an all round sensory experience.
Bruce specialises in teaching traditional Zimbabwean/Southern African songs in 3 to 6 part harmonies. The songs and harmonies are emotionally charged and uplifting, designed to build participant’s confidence with singing. His method of teaching and singing is in the traditional oral/ aural way; reminiscent of when people in Africa would gather around a fire in the evenings, or whilst working in the fields and start weaving harmonies.
This workshop will be inclusive and highly participatory, one does not need to be experienced in singing to take part.
Just two bus stops or a 6 min short cut walk from East Croydon Station (fast links from Clapham, Victoria, London Bridge, Kings Cross, Cambridge and Brighton/Gatwick.
You are welcome to buy more than one, and to sell onto your friends or group members at a small profit. Thank you for helping us get enough people to cover costs (workshop fee, travel, accommodation, subsistence).
